Pair of Carl-Axel Acking bedside tables for Bodafors, Sweden, 1950s

A rare pair of bedside tables designed by Carl-Axel Acking for Bodafors, Sweden, in the 1950s. Made in birch, each table has a drawer with a burl veneer front and a brass ring pull. Textured glass tops sit above an open shelf, supported by slender uprights extending into gently curved legs.

Bodafors manufacturer’s label present. Sold as a pair.
