Functionalistic dining chair model 'Orchestra' designed by Sven Markelius and produced by Bodafors, Sweden, during the 1930s.

First designed for Helsinborgs concert hall in 1932 the fuctional, stackable, chair in birch is still as modern today as it ground braking back then.

Many copies have been made during the 20th century. This is the original that was produced by Bodafors. Stamped on bottom of the seat.
