Rare Swedish designer pine dining table, 1930s
A rare dining table crafted in Sweden during the 1930s, attributed to an unknown maker.
Made from solid pine, the table features a warm, aged patina and a beautifully honest construction, reflecting the rustic elegance of early 20th-century Swedish design. The piece comes with two original extension leaves, each 40 cm wide, allowing the table to comfortably adapt to different seating needs.
Originally purchased for a summer house on Runmarö in the Stockholm archipelago, together with a matching set of chairs and living room furnishings from the same series.
An exceptional example of sportstugemöbler—a uniquely Swedish category of summer cabin furniture that blends functionality with a raw, sculptural charm.
