Copper wall lights by Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan, Sweden, 1940s
A highly well-executed wall lamp of the 1940s by Hans Bergström for Atelje Lyktan that is currently hard to find. Bergström used copper for this specific design that obtained admirable patina over time. The shade of the wall lamp is perforated with cross-shaped gaps that allow a beautiful light partition and play of shadows. The designer created the lamp with the idea to use it either indoors or outdoors.
