Large table lamp “Rubus” by Gunnar Nylund, Rörstrand, Sweden, 1940s

Large-scale Swedish stoneware lamp, model Rubus, designed by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand in the 1940s. A sculptural and expressive design within Swedish modern, characterized by its elongated proportions and an expressive glaze.

The lamp features a hand-thrown stoneware body with a deep, naturally toned glaze and subtle vertical ribbing that accentuates its height. Due to its generous scale, it functions equally well as an oversized table lamp or as a floor lamp placed directly on the ground, making it a versatile statement piece in an interior.A large and uncommon model with strong presence.

Please note: lampshade shown in the images are not included.
