Produced by Firma Karl Mathsson in Värnamo, Sweden, this version dates from 1938 – among the earliest iterations of the model – notable for its distinctive jute webbing and complete sheepskin covering, adding a tactile warmth to Mathsson’s elegant functionalism.

Mathsson’s organic form and ergonomic precision are already fully realized here, embodying the essence of Swedish modern design with remarkable comfort and craftsmanship.
